Hey guys

Heard good things about the DC2/EK9 steering racks but wanted to see if anyone knew if they were roughly the same in terms of responsiveness/distance lock to lock.

I understand to change the rack I'm going to need the sub frame and the rack but they should bolt onto the EK LCAs ok.

Just wondering if anybody knows if there's a major difference and of course if there's much modification required for getting them in and pretty much what to look for when buying one.

My car is a an EK1 (which came standard with with a D16y4 so there was nothing fancy about it before I installed the b series) - in case this bit of info helps at all :p.

I don't know about compatibility but from a drivers point of view if its possible then get it done! My 9 feels so much better on the turn in and the feedback it gives you than either of the other modified civics I've driven (an EK4 and EM1 - both on expensive coils and with decent tyres etc).

When you're buying one just check for excessive slop in the rack itself and give it a good looking over to make sure nothings bent... usually stuff like that is being broken after a smash so just be wary.

:nice:
