I need a new distributor and was wondering if the ek9 and teg dizzy's are the same

Yep both the same on the jdm itr anyway.

As far as I know they are the same as the UKDM teg aswell, much easier to find a dizzy for one of those for at a good price. Go to your local honda tuning garage though as my one refurbished mine for a quarter of the price of a new one.
