Ek4 trouble


I've an intake air temperature sensor and a fpr coming so I'll fire them on and see what happens
 
Ok finally admitted defeat with the car so I've left it into a new mechanic/tuner to hopefully get it sorted I'll report back on what the issue was hopefully
 
The tuner I left the car to said that he recons that the problem is air flow related
 
Yeah well it was a working used part but it went and I put my old one on
 
Well took the car a real good drive today and the problem is still there at times so going to go back to the drawing board
 
Ok I spent most of today working on the car and the tps voltage is wot 4.5v ct 0.48.
I set idle and ignition timing but it's still not right it's as if the butterfly is sticking as when the throttle is bliped the revs rise as they should but when coming down again they bounce and then would drop right down and start like chugging and then the revs would lift again
 
I pissed about with the tps and dead stop screw until it was at the correct voltage. The only thing is that I just remembered an induction kit I had before the metal disk in the middle of the cone came loose and stuck in the butterfly don't know if it done any damage well I haven't seen any when I was cleaning and inspecting the tb
 
Could the throttle cable be sticking I've oiled and greased it up but its nearly at it limit of adjustment
