I decided to show you my ride. In the past i had 2 4gen's - one crashed with not my foul (grey), and second (red), with engine from the first one). I've always loved 6gen's so here comes a time for changes :)) This is why i'm here on this forum :)

I've bought this car on november 2010. More or less in the same setup as she is in general now, but did some changes to feel this car more like "mine" :) This is an EJ9 with B16A2 swap and few EK9 oem goodies :naughty:

ENGINE:
B16A2 (2001r.)

INTAKE:
- Yowai-SS PowerChamber

EXHAUST:
- 2,5'' with twinloop

ELEKTRONIC:
- obd2a-obd1 + P06 tuned by wwww.strojenia.pl

POWETRAIN:
- Skunk2 shortshifter
- EK9 LSD
- EK9 FD 4.4

SUSPENSION:
- coilovers MTS
- C-pillar Cusco
- front srutbar OEM EK4
- Desmond Regamaster EVO 7x16''
- Bridgestone Potenza GIII 205/45/16 + Goodyear Eagle F1

BRAKES:
- EBC 282mm/260mm
- pads EBC Red/Green Stuff
- EBC fluid

BODY-KIT:
- OEM EK9 front lip
- OEM EK9 wing
- USDM Coupe grill
- OEM EK9 frontlights

INTERIOR:
- JDM EK4 Gauge Cluster
- EK9 Shift Boot
- Skunk2 Shift Knob
- JDM Cup Holder
- JDM SiR ACC Panel
- Airbag Try
- black carpet from EK4

B16A2 with stock exhaust manifold after tuning showed something like this:

But now i'm after testing something about 10 intakes with various lengths. One of my intakes showed 180KM and 167Nm with better range from 2 to 7k rpm over 5Nm more then yowai. B16 doesn't have much torque so even 5Nm should be appraciated :D

So, the most immportant:

Looking forward to your comments :) Cheers!

Nice car and nice spec! Looks really well! Try using photobucket its better for uploading pictures! :D

Topper mate, love the milano red on that. Looks amazing ! :D

just noticed the title of the thread .. :naughty: clever.

As said above it does look great in red on a facelift. not very common at all might i add.

maybe small update..

Car didn't have a lot of mods from this time. Intake is changed permanently to my own spec (dia and lenght counted) short ram with isolation and fresh air from the bumper. BIG change in throttle response. Never back again to power chamber..

Then all left side with front bumper and roof was painted. Efect enjoyed my eyes :)

Then on August I had an accident..front end had to be rebuild..Everything had to be done very fast so i bought Ek9-like grill and I'm disapointed..slots between grill and bumper are awful :(

With one visit in bodyshop handles and rear of the stiped interior (no pictures) were painted too.

Now i have a question - I definitely want to do something with the fold of front end. My USDM grill has broken 1/4 of frame and now is what I want to ask: Do the frames are the same in EUDM and USDM grills? Could I buy an eudm grill and only change them?

Thanks :) For me every color (despite green-forest :p ) will be better for this setup..But is what it is, after painting almost all car is very fresh (right side was painted something about 2 years ago) so overall it makes me smile :)

I've found some onboard:

To be ohnest..mirros are not on my prio-list this year :) First of all i will do something with grill. Then MTS coilovers will be changed to MTS springs and shocks setup with some blue LCAs. After that I plan to buy some ITR cams and Edelbrock manifold. After that small changes on crome. This is a first step to further engine plans...but probably next steps in 'there is no replacement for displacement-mode' will be done unfortunately not in this year..

Next up after big pause..

What's new? In my opinion - quite a lot ;)

Exterior: grill changed to another EK9 replica - finally I'm content! Slots to bumper and hood are like OEM-ones :) Front tires changed to 204/45 Federals 595 RS-R and front suspension a liitle bit up, rear changed to 195/45 and suspension down :) I've finally found ideal compromise between look and performance.

And now the most immportant part...
B16 was on her last 1/4mile contest and was doing reccurent 14.9X on the airport (no glue, Uniroyall Rainsports)

I've made a decisson - it was toooo slow :D
one day...
8 a.m.

8 p.m.

After tune (30degrees on the dyno:)

As you can see on description..B20 FTW!! I've bought built B20vtec :)
Setup:
- b20z1 block
- I-beam Probe rods
- RS Machines 11.8 84,5 pistons
- blocgirdle KMS
- ARP studs
- STOCK b16a2 head with BuddyClub 3 cams, ITR spring and retainers
- AEBS manifold with 67mm throttle
- Toda-style header + 2,5" rest with Twinloop
- counted intake with Fujita
- 440 RC injectors
- tuned on Crome by strojenia.pl

more or less - this is it :) Pulling hard! Can't wait for the first timeslip :)

yes, to be ohnest - I'm proud of the exterior ;) Performance is quite good too. I have to do something with interior (bucket seat, maybe EK9 steering wheel) and then...project completed? No..never :)

Small update with some 1/4mile results.

1. First event - first car tests. Federals are doing the job...NOT! Unfortunately this is only a little better tire then others 'dailydriven'...With traction issues this setup was doing repetitive 13.6 (airport, no glue) and won the 1,5-2,0 class :)

2. Second event - airport too. Even more traction problems cause the lower temperature. All cars were doing 0,4sec worse times then usuall - track goes little uphill + quite strong wind on the face. I didn't brake the 14sec range (14.0X all the time), but second place overall :) Lost to EG with B18C GSR with PCT pistons, Brian Crower stage 2's and 9,5k redline - he did 0,06 reaction time :) Some photos and movies.

Summing: I'm quite satisfied with the current performance of this engine but as usuall in tuning - could be stronger :p
