Awesome driving from Jordon Cox in his EG Civic against some much bigger cars at Bathurst this year, all with a bent rim after being shunted on lap 1, turn 1

"Both the Civic and Integra run highly developed 2.0L B-series engines with the blocks machined and modified by Golden Eagle Mfg in America. Engines are built here locally in Australia and depending on how hard we want to push them, they put out between 270-285bhp."

Imagine what they could do with a highly developed K20/K24
 
so its a B20, i thought it was a K20 when i read in the comments it was a 2litre. Thats pushing some power out for a n/a engine!
 
Yeh I'd say b series cause of the 5speed box.
 
Awesome video. I gotta give it to Jordon Cox for the fantastic skills. That EG looked so finely tuned and balanced. Seemed like the gear ratio was insane?! Or is that simply the B20 pushing close to 300 making easy work of that gear box? Good racing.
 
looks like everything has been setup spot on, if the track had no long straights that civic would of left them all
 
awesome race, that pass at 10:40 was perfect and shows how well that car handles.

Love how hard he drives that civic and the kind of cars it's spanking, why is this stuff not shown on british tv!
