Hello! I am looking to try another intake manifold on my B18C6, so i have searched that Edelbrock Performer X are very good intake manifold, better because it have longer runners and it works much better on lover rpm and mid rpm! Maybe somebody have bigger expierence and opinion about this inatke manifold theme, because i am interested in this! I also looked on Skunk2 Ultra street manifold, but as i read it just give something after 250 hp! ;)

I run one on my B20 vtec, unfortunately I never ran the stock inlet mani so I cant really compare it to anything. Performance wise its great, the lad who mapped my car said they make good gains! Fitting wise, what a pain in the arse, with the runners being longer and also the throttle body sits further round (closer to the strut tower) I needed to change my intake as the carbon one didn't fit. Also abit of a nightmare getting to fuel lines/brake lines from behind it, it is do-able but expect a few swear words!

OO big thanks to you man! At least somebody answers and gives information about this intake manifold! Maybe you can tell how much HP/TQ you mapped? ;) Because want to understand if it is worth to buy it! ;)

160 wheel horse power and 130 ft/lb , I have a build thread on here if you want to have a look!

I made 176whp on my stock b18c6 with a catback, edelbrock intake och 4-1 header, without catalytic converter

dynos are different , the RDT dyno that @ellb123 was on is weird, I made 159whp on that but elsewhere it ran 209 to the fly, stock healthy ek9 made 139whp on the same dyno too. It's really how it drives not the figures because dynos are never accurate, they're just for tuning purposes.

On top of that in regards to the OPs post, I had the same inlet but never got the car remapped with it but I could feel a slight difference low down and midway. Is a pain to fit though, hits everything on the bulkhead and I had to mess around with the IACV for ages to get it to clear.

Made a couple of videos on the install ages ago
