Dyno Proven Ecu & Intake Comparison

That's great. On your car did nothing on my car there was a big diff !

Yup its great to see how the only improvement on mine was the lower vtec which resulted in more power midrange as expected.

Yeah I thought it was custom made. I was thinking about buying one of the cheap eBay induction kits just for its 3inch inlet pipe then wrapping it like you have.
Then either the blox filter with stack or k&n filter with blox stack.

For reference. Samco intake runner with OEM box, K&N filter.
OEM JDM ITR ECU [acronyms lol] Ill be switching to Hondata S300 soon.
Im running the Samco intake on both this car and the track car.
Cold air is key of course, no matter the kit used.

This was made to replace the mugen intake runner for king motorsports, i think it is 3"...ill need to recheck. I cut mine up, use to have a 3.5" opening at the filter end. Mine is fitted up to the comptech icebox vstack.

The material insulates from heat and has a very smooth inner wall. Perfect for CAI.

how stronge is the pipe heard people had trouble of the rubber pipes sucking in on them selfs before ?

Very strong, cant see that happening with how stiff the tubes are. May happen with imitations, maybe?

The coolant hoses are not as ridged and when the coolant cools, they tend to deform, this is not the case with the intake runner. :)

I recommend them.

I've heard about the rubber hoses caving in before, but I don't its Likly to Happen.

I've heard it happens on the turbo Astra. Because they have very weak inlet hose,
But if you've seen it happen then it happens.
So best bet to stick with a solid 3inch pipe with some reflective tape onit?

That is strange, would take one hell of a vacuum to make that happen or a plugged filter.
Not to mention there is a metal wire coil from end to end on the intake.
