hi guys i m looking to change my pads , i m not satisfied at all with brakes, when i drive normal at town its ok but when i got highway with speed of 120klm i m not satisfied at all , i just like to make the car stop very good inside the town and in highways , not interested in high speeds, the recommended me the ds2500 but i cant find here all over the country and a storeguy told me that he got available CL rc5 , also my mechanic told me if i cant find the ds2500 to go with nissin and blank disks , any other suggestion/opinion ?

current setup OMP slotted/drilled disks
ferodo premier pads front / rear
high pressure pipes
bosch fluid
tegiwa brake stopper
r1r tires

The CL pads are abit hard core for a road only car but they will do the job you want from them.

well that abs in small speeds its self dstructive , many times that when i need brakes in 40-50 klms i almost stop 10 cm from the front car, or in highway when they do construction works and u need to stop sudden due to front car stupidity to warn and u need sudden brakes in 100-120 klm , u got shitty stuff , the feeling of the brakes is like u have gum discs !!!!!

I meant more that the CL pads tend to squeal and give off alot of dust. These are trade offs that you don't mind on a track car but on a daily most won't like it.
They'll work daily as my brother has them on his ep3.

Ds2500 are awesome pads. Mines didn't squeal but they were dusty.

However it sounds more like you need to have more road awareness..........

some drivers are unpredictabke today for example , 1 citroen in front of me without braking lights !!!

I've got DS2500's, really good pads and I use them daily. The squeal a bit under light braking but not sure if that's just my luck.

Dusty as hell though, combined with white wheels they make me want to self harm.

Just another to add to the mix :run:
I've got project MU 800 pads in mine and they're excellent.

I had ds2500 and they had temp issues on my track day I did, But otherwise they're a good pad.

Another one in the mixing pot for you, I'm on Dixcel type Z and they've been brilliant so far! Ok on the road and awesome on track, not loads of dust either.

I had ds2500 on my Jordan with 282 brakes, ate superblue fluid and they were great. Never faded once on the road or the numerous trackdays I done last year.

Lasted very well too!!

Liked them that much I bought them for my EP3 :)

Wasn't to fussed on ds2500 myself after all the hype they get on the Internet.

CL6 are in another league in my opinion.

My carbone Lorraine RC5 are great around town, even better on track, I can't imagine how the RC6s feel.

RC5 all day. Great as a daily and superb on track. All you have to put up with is some brake dust and slight noise.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to buy CL RC5 or DS2500 for ek9 brake setup at a reasonable price?

I got mine direct from carbone Lorraine Uk, just ask for 98 Spec Dc2 ones, same as Ek9.
