I'm in two minds whether or not to sell my ek9. Just wondering ok peoples thoughts as I'm thinking of buying rwd for a change?

You will regret it for sure , I know lots of people here have done the same and most if not all regretted it,
And have always came back to a honda ,
Grass is not always greener on the other side.

I've had many friends who have got rid of there civics and bought s14's and the like and later down the line they are back to a civic they say it's down to reliability and rawness, why not keep the 9 and buy another car, i know it's not ideal with 2 sets of insurance/tax/mot and not everyone can afford it but I would say keep the 9 they are getting less and less

This is the problem iv got with my sir2 after i bought my evo 5 aswell i dont want to just sell it as i know il never find one as clean again so trying my hardest to not sell it

If you've never had a rwd before give it a shot. Can pick up plenty that are battered/already drifted to death. Try it for a bit, if you like it then sell the Ek9 on.

Your evo is absolutely beautiful too, then again so is the SIR, sticky situation you have there.

My 2 cents - I don't think its a "trade". What you have is a peace of history. Not just any written history book some where, but a living piece of history that breathes flames. Once shes sold, and driven by a new owner- you can never get 'that' back. Sure you can sell her, use that money to buy another a rwd car, but that EK9 can never be replaced. Don't fool yourself.
If its time to move on, then its time. Cars are about happiness, and that comes in many forms. Life is short and I believe its important to have fun with what life we have, and do whats makes you happy. Do what makes you happy.
---But who doesn't like to get sideways? Just saying---
Good luck

I went from an ek9(first car) to a s14 and fell In love with rwd and turbo. Since then Iv had an s13, s15, rx7, c63 and a 2jz r32 gtr.

However I still come on here as I do still really like ek9's and want one as a track car, that or a teg.

And yeh, owning a ek9 is super cheap in comparison.

Dont do it! You'll regret it sooner or later and good ones are getting hard to come by

I had an itch for a R33 GT-R but my gut feeling tells me I'd seriously regret selling the EK9. I've since decided against the Skyline idea. The EK9 is a keeper :)
