I'm replacing a warped front disc on my car. I'm using a second hand disc from a ctr untill i have money for an aftermarket setup.

Anyway the disc I have has some surface rust. Does anybody know the best way to remove it?

You should take your brake discs to the shop so they can get skimmed :nice:

How severe is the rust? If its minor, you could brush it off with some soft steel wool, and if theres some minor rust left just drive it off. My car sits out in the rain all the time, and I just drive around untill the surface rust is sc****d off. If the rust is really set in, then yeah, jsut have your rotor slightly resurfaced.

No big deal, I can understand theres always going to be bugs in censorship systems like that. Like I can type **** but I cant type SC****D

talk to me about brakes i get EBC extremely cheap as my dad is the md there and dad has just made new disks all round and yellow stuff pads all round and ill tell ya there awesome stopped on a dime and nutted my spoon steering wheel right under a security camera felt like a right tit never mind pm me if any of you need brakes.
