DC2 K24 Turbo Project

Looking good! Just to tease you.. my car made 430hp and 350lbs of torque on a cast log manifold... im sure yours will make more! :nerv:
Cool what spec is yours Ie injector size etc is it a stock block? would like to see the dyno graph what psi sorry for all the questions.

750cc injectors, stock block running k20a2 pump and k20a2 valve train. Running 12psi.

Graph is from a hub dyno

Not completely finished with the map.. was running a half rad and the car was getting too hot on the dyno.. changed to a full width rad now so needs some fine tuning

As you can see, all that work on the valve train to get the limiter raised to 8000rpm and it wasnt even needed lol.

Think of it as a safety insurance just in case...:))

The log manifold is choking your engine, change to a manifold with some runner length, not only will it make more power but also carry the power better at high rpm's. I would say the tune needs some work also!

No doubt the manifold is choking it, if im bothered and have spare change id love a sidewinder but atm the power and delivery is more than enough!

Yeah the map still needs finishing. On the day the car was overheating and we ran out of time. Still need to set up boost by gear!

Small update been a while not really done much to the car just bought some brakes, inlet manifold, fuel rail and some donkey power 1000id injectors.

The brakes are yellow speed 300mm 4pots they just fit under the stock 16" wheels with a 10mm spacer, the kit does look well made ( that's coming for a engineer!!) .

will post some more pics soon.

dont mean to be a pain but you've the calipers upside down in case you havent noticed!!! they look like a good kit alright! pagid pads?

Haha thanks just put them on to check wheel clearance but didn't notice:)) the pads are just yellow speed fast road will be changing them at some point.

no problem, They look a good kit, who supplied them for you?

Nice setup! Some feedback on them after some use will
Help meny folks here I'm sure.

Will do hopefully going to the nurburgring this year so that will test them!!! I bought them because pdapaul is using them on his time attack car and he rates them.

Little update, finished welding the exhaust manifold then set it up in the manual milling machine to surface the exhaust flange, took about .2mm off so not much warp from welding.

Awesome matt, nice to see a bit more progress!

Are you running a sports cat/standard cat?
