DC2 has landed in the UK!

Love it man!
Overall a very nice clean car!
Every car needs a touch up here and there!
Id say you must be delighted :D

looking very well, the bodywork issues are very minor and not bad at all considering the age of the car and the fact it has travelled halfway across the world to get to the UK :)

Yeh exactly, going to get the front bumper and lip resprayed and thats the exterior taken care of. :) a little mark here and there is to be expected.

Good ol' Mike @ Torque GT.

Are you sure the caliper isn't sticking? That seems like a massive amount of brake dust.

Haven't had time to look into it just yet, but that might be a good shout. The brakes are a little squeaky when I'm braking as well. I think I'll take a look at it next time I get to work on the car. Had a quick look under the car as well, and Torque have done an ace job with the under sealing.

Cheers man, yeh overall I'm chuffed to bits with it! and totally agree, wouldn't be right if nothing needed doing to the car at all.

Well, got round to fitting my new head unit, so I finally have British radio and can use my phone for music too. :D when I was sorting it out I noticed there was no sound from the rear, took the speaker cover off quickly and noticed:

Yep no rear speakers, but also noticed and eyelet down by the drivers seat belt, used for a harness? Having a guess, I think that this car may have been stripped and tracked in it's time in Japan. :p

The next part was a little bit worrying, double checked behind the passengers side rear speaker cover and of course there was no speaker but I noticed this instead:

Looks like it may have suffered a nasty dent in it's time. :( I'm not too sure if this is anything to be worried about, what do you guys reckon? Whoever did it was very good as there are no signs at all on the exterior.

If you can find a 15 year old car, especially a performance car that hasnt had some sort of bodywork then you are doing very well! Even most newish cars on the road have seen some sort of paint or bodywork

As long as its a good job, the panel isnt made of isopon and there is no structural damage then nothing to worry about at all

The rears are not factory tinted?
The tint shouldn't come off the oem glass.

Those burn marks look like they are from a stud welder gun which is used to weld small studs to a dented area which can be pulled on to remove dents,

I would give the area a clean up and light rub down, then etch prime and paint, then spray a little waxoil over the top and it'll be fine:nice:

For the inside of the rear quarters and inner sills, fill them with dynax s50. Best thing you can use.

Hope you ok dude , Gutted to see that this has been written off! :(

Word through the grape vine is Simon was driving abit fast for the conditions and the car started to slide, he hit the brakes and plowed through the jag.

Oh, sounds like it didn't have the ABS option :(
