Hi all, been a member on here for a few years and a serious lurker of the forum haha. So i figured its probably time I showed you all my car :))

My first honda was a EK4 civic...

I loved it but after 2 years of ownership I decided I needed something with a bit more presence and power...

So a nice pretty much stock silver DC5 landed on the driveway...

I have now owned the car just over two years and as with any honda the modding bug soon starts! I shan't put every update in here as it'll probably take me years to find all the pictures etc haha but the car has been through a few different wheels in my ownership..

In terms of current mods on the car the list is as follows:

- ARC intake
- RBC inlet manifold
- J's racing strut brace
- Tegiwa exhaust manifold
- Toda backbox with custom b pipe
- Spoon 5.1 final drive
- K100 and remap by Romain at euro
- MeisterR coilovers
- Cusco front and rear ARB's
- Braided brake lines front and rear
- Mtec front discs and DS2500 pads
- Work Emotion CR-Kai wheels (7J, ET47 on AD08R tyres)

There are probably a few more mods that I have forgotten about to be honest! I shall upload an engine bay shot when I've taken a new one, the RBC and remap only happened a few weeks ago so have yet to take a decent bay shot really!

Now about a year into ownership I did my first track in the DC5 and have been hooked ever since so here's a few pics of me trying to drive it properly!

The tracks i've done so far are snetterton (3-4 times), cadwell(4 times), donington (once) and croft (once). Me and a group of friends are off to Anglesey next week to do a trackday there which should be good fun :)) Then I think I might do cadwell another time before the year is out and possibly snetterton again!

In terms of future plans, for it is just to do more trackdays and try a few more tracks out next year. Want to do atleast silverstone and rockingham next year then maybe give Spa a go too! An ideal long term plan would be to have a visit to TTS and buy one of their rotrex kits, but who knows! I'm not bored of the car yet, far from it so I should think i'll be owning it for many years to come :)

Anywho thanks for looking, comments welcome!

Damn, two seriously nice vehicles. Love that EK4 haha.

All wheels look great on your car, enkies are probably my favourite though. Amazing pictures too! Did you take them?

Good track dedication too, all round sick job sir :drive:

What up dude! You missed Knockhill off that list :p

lovely teg!

Cheers!

Haha thanks man! Appreciate those comments! Enkies were a great wheel but the Works came up at a great price and are more suitable wheels for the track so they've won for now haha!

Yeah photo's are mostly my own :)

Yooooooo! Yeah knockhill will happen one day fo sho! Gonna have to make a weekend out of it or something as its so far away!

Few random photos of parts etc on the car:

Rocker cover and j's strut brace ends powdercoat in anthracite...

Grooved MTEC discs...

Spoon 5.1 final drive... (One of my favourite mods bar the remap)

Forgot to mention the car has full vibratechnics engine mounts...

ARC intake being cleaned...

Cusco front and rear ARB's

Can't wait for the trackday at anglesey next week now, have 8 cars on track in our friend group which should make it a good laugh!

I'll probably be uploading random pics on my instagram next week if any of you are on there, search for @Dan34

That ek4 looks so sweeeet! Very nice man. Dc5 looks clean and modded for reason! Very nice, i liked the gold rays the most. Btw your pics are very nice!

Both cars look amazing. Something very clean and simple about the EK4!! The dc5 looks fantastic, I wouldn't change a thing on the outside!!

Cheers! The EK4 was a great just lacked the power I wanted. In hindsight I kind of wish I had kept it and K20'd it. But the DC5 is a different beast all together, its a great all rounder, since owning it i've done 20k miles a year in it and it hasn't missed a beat!

Couple more pics of the EK4, the wheels were my favourite part of the car!

Thanks! I like to keep my cars pretty subtle when I can, nothing too over the top!

Love dc5, as above I prefer the enkies on your car.

Yo! A fan of yours on instagram haha! Aye what Rippu said, Knockhill needs to be on the list!

Some of my mates were saying Spa is quite cheap so wouldn't mind doing that either. Just feart of binning it abroad tho haha

Cheers! Yeah most people seem to like the enkies the most. They are one of my favourite wheels but they've gone to a good mate of mine so I know they're in good hands! With an option to buy them back in the future if I want haha.

haha I think I follow you too!

Yeah Spa isn't too bad price wise, I'll 100% be doing it either next year or the following year! No need to fear binning it, just take it easy and you'll be fine. I've got mates that are scared to go round cadwell because it's quite narrow etc, but in my eyes its very safe if you just be sensible with it. Cadwell is the best track i've been on so far, I love it ha.

May aswell do the ring while your at spa? Like hour and half away.

Yeah man, come up for the weekend, can sort something out! Edinburgh's not too bad haha ;)

Yeah thats the plan if we can afford to do it at the time! I'd like to do the ring once just so I can say i've done it haha. Got loads of UK tracks to try in the meantime first though!

Ideal! :))

Looks real good man along with a great attention to detail, didn't realise you had an EK4 aswell.

Nice spec list on this thing, we should make another trip to Croft happen 2015. Hopefully will have my 'teg a bit more track ready aswell.

That was a lovely ek very subtle looking you should have k swapped it

Although the dc5 is sweet too, silver is my favourite colour for them the enkeis looked the best in my opinion.

Haha cheers! Sometimes I wish I had kept it and K swapped it, but I do love the DC5, its a great car! Plus with a rotrex one day it will really move then haha.
