Hi, i'm looking for an induction kit to fit a D14 engine, i'm having problems trying to find one that will fit due to the throttle body facing upwards, unlike the d16 which faces sideways... Anyone got any ideas or any advice at all?
Thanks! :nice:

I ended up fitting a D16 intake manifold to do this - can be found pretty cheap.

Put a guide on civiclife, will try and dig it out.

Dont use that manifold in the link , Grab yourself one from D16Z6/Z9 - Civic 1.6 Esi ( 92-95).

I wonder why you want to do this. If it's for the noise - ok. If it is for extra power - don't bother. On a D14 it won't make any noticable difference. NOFI, just being honest. Put the money for an intake on an account for your next D16, B16 of B18 Honda.

Cheers for the advice! I'm mainly doing it for the noise, because there isn't much point upgrading the power output of a D14... The guide is so helpful! Definitely going to look into doing this, but might resort to buying a K&N panel filter and removing a lot of the resonator box to remove the air restrictions. Cheers for the help!

I've got a K&N panel filter on mine mate, not much different in sound if I'm honest.

I saved all my pennies for B16 rather than investing into a 1.4
