So I have a K reg civic EG 1.6 lsi auto 40k, full service history etc and in pretty mint condition...

Plans - JDM B18 conversion - currently seeking an engine an box 96 or 98 spec JDM, dizzy, shafts etc etc...

I was planning on doing a k20a conversion however the price to do the conversion is a tad expensive.

Its booked in for a full respray at the end of the month - engine GT3RS Blue, Shell and inside focus RS frozen white, wheels DC2 dished wheels in GT3RS blue.

I already have - BC coilovers, Carbon duck lip spoiler (will be going white though), Chipped ECU, Big disc conversion with brembo discs and ds2500 pads, light weight pulley, tegiwa control arms.

So some pictures and a bit of progress...

Removed the arch liners and skirts wire brushed inside lip of the arches and cleaned them up then my quick prep skills haha had no newspaper or maskin paper so blue roll it was (over spray is not important as its having a full respray) etch primed the inside lip of the arches and skirts and then coated with black hammerite to keep them mint and rust free.

Nice work so far man! Look forward to seeing it come along :))

Cheers :D ill be trying to keep it up to date as much as possible. Im a newbie to the hondas but i pick up quite quickly but any advice is greatly appreciated.

use a heavy duty cleaning solvent to take away the remains of the sound deadening.

check out youtube as there is other ways of removing that horrible stuff by means of freezing it,but seems you only have the residue left now.

looks like a very clean eg you got yourself :nice:
