Also had to get the local garage to remove the inner rods. Got it all stripped and ready for prep

Old trackrods in comparison to the new. Apparently the tegiwa track rods are slighly modified and different in size. Unknown brand of the old ones

Ordered some Fantastic filler and made a start on the engine bay and bonnet.
I always use this stuff its the best iv used, rubs down nice and doesnt leave any pin holes.
IMAG0935.jpg

The bonnet was slightly kinked from what im assuming is from when its been getting pressed on when closing. I tapped around it and the one skim did its magic.
IMAG0570.jpg

Old pic of the bay (i forgot to take some before i started) to show what i was filling.
As you can see from the picture theres alot of dimples and welds which dont look presentable at all.

One skim did the job just right!
I didnt want to loose the originality of the car by going crazy mad with the filler and covering up the spotwelds.
Only filled the main bits around the shocker tops and left everything else. This should finish the bay off once the engine is in.

Brand new #MeisterR ZetaPRO coilovers
-
Out with the old and in with the new
-
With height and ride dampening these should be just right for the road and some track

Was deciding between Buddyclub and Meisters but iv had these in the past and not heard anything bad about them either so im sticking with what i know

These can stay on the car for a little bit longer till it gets painted, coilovers will be getting greased next for abit of protection and maybe even some coil covers
