After a set of new spoon calipers woundering who knows where to shop, any advice on places would be great cheers

Might sound like a silly question but have you looked into the other models/makes available for the money ?? :)

Check rep, I belive you shouldn't be buying of people without 250 post and a rep. Don't buy off unrated sellers. Beware

x2 ! Too many people being done over these days, remember the rules are here to help you :)

I can get Spoon Calipers (Twinblock or Monoblock) for around £1200.00 new (which still isnt cheap) but cheaper than Spoon Europe or Hendy I believe.

They are as much as that now, I got some about 5 years ago from Japan for £700. I think they are over priced for what they are better off with wilwood . Half the price from freakyparts

Stop trying to sell then untill you have the correct post count. Anyone can type a load of rubbish to get a sale on goods that you had no intention of sending. Yes you could be genuine but the point is your breaking forum rules, I believe rvm said anyone under post count caught selling will be banned immediately !!

Just because you've no rep thread does NOT make you a scammer, yes there is a minor few out there but don't go tarring ALL of the people under 250 posts with the same brush. Against the rules or not i've sold many the item on this forum. Heck ban me if it makes ya feel better :nice:

Say what you want.
With no rep and not enough posts people have every right to be wary.

Exactly, One simple rule is to send the money as payment for goods or a service. Sending money as a gift gives you no rights as far as i'm aware. But transfer the money with the fees attached so in the case of a problem you have some come back.

or pay to be a vendor then regardless of post amounts shows you are alot more genuine and putting money towards the site, yes under 250 posts can be a bit unfair to some but it is there for our protection iv seen a fair few people scammed on here from above and below 250 posts and hate seing genuine people robbed of their hard earned cash. we all need to be careful and make sure we use correct payment methods as stated iv bought off many people on here and not had any problems so most are a good bunch, but 250 posts isnt realy that hard to hit if you are an enthusiast :)

If you have just banned him over that , you are taking your job as moderator too far Lee . Its a bit childish dont you think ? I thought this forum was pretty civilised .

I thought it was pretty fair. It was a lippy and childish comment to make. Back to the point, funkypower do them for £1250. Still pricey though!
