I've recently bought a facelift ek9 with a jvc double din head unit it it, when I got the car, the CD player wasn't in properly and was shaking about so I stripped it down and secured it. But now the center console (carbon bit) won't secure in place and the CD player facia surround is nowhere near fitting. I was wondering if when you take the original unit out, does it remove holes for the center console to slip into and does anybody know where I can get a CD player facia plate as I've searched many websites and can't find a match!
:please:

Cheers

your missing the metal frame that attaches to the dash front and supports the cd player in place. it is also used to bolt to the main centro console and keep it secure.

Can you get the metal frame and put it in or would I need to go back to the single din unit if I could source one

call Boyle he can get you the metal brackets. I have the JDM genuine Honda sterio surround to make it look pretty. call if you need any help 07867 900543.
