What's going on guys,

To save the trouble I live in the U.S., California to be specific, and I wanna know if you can fit a JDM EK 5-lug conversion on a U.S.-spec Civic hatch (EJ6) while still having the factory D16Y7 and tranny under the hood. Would I be dealing with any issues, or would I be able to fit everything, no problem..?? The reason why I'm asking this is because the first thing I wanna work on is suspension/chassis, and actually leave the engine/tranny swap and mods for last

Any advice/info will help a lot

:thanks:

It Will bolt right up. Since the axle size is 32MM, you can use it with stock d series axle. If you get ITR 5 lug then it changes because ITR is a little bigger 36MM.

Hey I have a question, since your doing a CTR 5 lug conversion, can you give me a list of ALL the PARTS NEEDED to do a conversion like master cylinder, brake booster act. please? thanks

You're gonna need the front knuckles, rear trailer arms, brake lines, e-brake cables, CTR/ITR master cylinder and brake booster, all the other brake components (rotors, brake pads, calipers) and by the way, CTR and ITR brakes components are exactly the same so you can use that info when finding OEM parts or even when you're upgrading.. that's all I can remember right now, maybe I'm forgeting something, but that's basically it haha

Hey Stock96EK, I'm sorry bro, I gave you the wrong info about the master cylinders from the CTR/ITR, they're not all the same; the '96-'97 ITR has a "1 master cylinder but with a 10mm/12mm fitting, and all 98+ ITR's have a "1 master cylinder with both 10mm fittings, so it'll bolt right into your EK.. also, another thing you're gonna need is the proportion valve for the full brake conversion.. I think that's literally everything, but if anything I'll come back and add more info :)

And by the way, all master cylinders from the EK CTR are exactly the same, fittings and everything, so if you find one it'll bolt right into your car, no problem.. however, you have to be careful about the difference between USDM and JDM, because the fittings will be on the wrong side if you get the wrong one.. on a JDM unit, the brake line on the side will be on the opposite side if it was from a USDM car, which is what LHD cars want.. for the 96-00 Civics using the 98-spec master cylinder/brake booster, you would have to buy one from a USDM car, since the brake line fitting will actually hit the shock tower if you get a JDM unit.. EG/DC's can use JDM/USDM master cylinders, no problem

Just thought you should know
