alryt folks need few ideas

got a ej9 .

my front bumper i hit a while back had a crack in the lip but got tht fixed . but my bumper is still like loose its hanging dwn a bit . any ideas how to get it put up ? the clips have broke ? so need ideas how to put it up ?

Some guy over hondacivicforum had the idea of putting washers in the bolts to rise the bumper up so as to minimise the gap between his headlight ad front bumper, he showed before and after, and it made a 100% difference, hope that helps :)

yh cheers il see what i can do lol

' Self tapper? '

what you mean mate lol ?

if it's hanging a bit loose where the bumper is held onto the wheel arch you could just get rid of the white nylon thing (that you screw into) and then put a couple of cable ties using that hole.
It's what I did as I've had the front bumper on and off so many times i'd worn the thread away.

a self tapper is basically a pointy screw which cuts its own thread as you screw it in. ;)

yhh cheers . see the cable ties going into that hole lol im sure tht whole is like crakd lol .... need to try n fix tht so they go in properly then ? but with cable ties wil it still sit ok ? iv got one in just now to do at the moment buts still a bit loose especialyy under the light ..

well if the hole in the bumper is cracked then that might be your problem. i just said about the zipties as it's quite common that the thread gets pulled out of it so you can't get the screw to hold tight into it.

Could do with some pics of yours to see what we're dealing with tbh.

yhh i will i need to put pics up wil have them up by saturday . :)

if its hanging pull those whitw plastic clips out as they are obviously done! and get some nuts and bolts with some wide washers and your sorted! would advise on locking nuts to avoid them loosening over time!

u can also but zip ties were the bumper sits by the grilland then cover them up with the grill. i did it worked wonders
