Black RX project

Some serious work & dedication put into your 9,
keep up the good work.

cheers for the comments, almost done this blasted mini wire tuck. Only a few wires to extend and that'll be the tuck done, just need to get some heat shrink and some 8AWG wire and figure out where to bring it through the firewall.... Good times.

Mega power exhaust, extremely loud even with the silencer on it. tama is banned from using it at track. :(
Mine is now taking a vacation sitting on the garage floor taking up room.

Those broken pads, how the heck did that happen? Was it a stabbing at the brakes that did them in or was it something else? Never seen a pad delaminate before.

Nice choice on wheels!

Crap, cant be much louder than the Apexi though you can hear it for miles! Although when i ever do get a turbo kit my exhasut setup will be fine! lol
It was only one front pad that was faulty, when i was removing them i noticed it had corrosion on the front of it, gave it a tap on the floor and it fell in bits! :wow:

Had the Volks with the car, just decided to get new valves for them as the valves on them have always had mismatched caps and they looked quite corroded, didnt realise how much until i was removing them as one actually cumbled as i was undoing it!

Well im walking round like a cripple as i've been stooped over the engine bay for the last few hours, but the wire tuck is done! YEAH! still got to wire the immobiliser and rear fog back in and then test it all though! :nerv:

slowly but surely its getting there! :woot:

Decided to rerun the washer fluid as well as it was annoying me for a long time!

Noticed as i was doing moving the wires i was making lots of little holes in the engine bay, so got these little gromets to plug them back up! :D

Sits in the glove box handy, put all the wires is sleeving at the rear of the glove box to stop them getting damaged.

One of the several piles of tape that have gathered in and around the car! lol

Would love to do this but it took me a day to just re wire my HID's!

Real credit to you tho, looking much tidier :nice:

Good work and well done with the tuck! Will look much neater when the wings and strut brace are back on!

Interesting place to mount the washer bottle though. Do you think you'll have problems with melting it or heating it up a bit much? Would the lower part of the chassis leg be a better option for it?

Started the car up for the first time in over six months! so happy considering i've had the tank out, and been farting around with the wiring! lol. Another plus is that the lights all seem to be working and i've wired the immobiliser in so that it now works! :D

Nice one Elchunk , any chance you could take a picture of the point of entry of the headlight wireds going from the side into the cabin please ? :nice:

yea will do, I did it a little different to the way alot of the us wire tucks seem to be done, but it means there is no chance of crap getting in through the gromets.

Couple of things to sort out before i can look to getting it tested,
-needs brake fluid drained out and new RBF600 put in.
-new thermostat as it got stuck from sitting for 6 months.
-going to do the cam belt and tensioner as its long overdue.
-also going to swap out the water pump when this is being done.

Other than that its good to go!

:drive:

IT LIVES!!!! YO!!!
