Well i seen a link to this company the other insurance thread, i phoned up a few insurance companies before these:

Elephant = £890
Sky = £903
Adrian Flux = £1650!!!!

I then called up Noel Dazely and he gave me an initial quote of between £700-£800. I found out that i can register the ek9 on monday so i phoned them back to sort out the insurance and it came in at £795 :D was chuffed to **** as i am only 25 with 2 years ncb and 3 points. Would highly recomend these to anyone wanting insurance for their car, as they really know their stuff and are very friendly and helpfull.

Performance Sports Car Insurance UK

that seems quite expensive for flux. I have been with them for about 3 years and recently changed from an EG6 to a 9. The underwriter was the same so they didn't charge me for the policy change, just upped my DD slightly. I am 25, 5 years ncb, clean license.

i rang n dazely, told me straight they couldnt get anywhere near quotes i was getting, insurance is just huge hit and miss

Yeah i thought that too, i have insured my last 3 cars with them, 2 starlet gt turbos and a 2.5v6 sport galant and it was only £450.

flux and sky seemd to be very high at moment! flux wanted £1800 for me! every where else seems to be cheaper than them both

this is who im with - really great people and i hope you meantioned you where with the club as they give you a bit of discount!

mine cost me £575 27yr old 10yr ncb 3points!

If our price is no longer competitive we can go back to our underwriters and let them know, we may be able to match/beat that price from Noel...

Drop me a PM with your details if you would like me to have a look.

Sky Insurance

Thanks ollie, but i have accepted the quote now and have paid the deposit.

The only reason I went with flux to Sky was because flux would charge me to cancel the policy. It took flux a lot longer to find the £650 I got from sky. They really struggled to price match. Also the bloke from sky did sound quite enthusiastic about ek9s when he asked for the make/model :)
