Thought its about time I signed up on here and made myself known.

I have had a rather exciting car history but always find myself wanting another Honda! And after getting bored of worrying where I park my car and picking up dents and scratches it only seemed right to get something intended for the track!

So after selling this:

I was left gagging for something with some go to it and after some searching I ended up buying this

I absolutely loved it and ticked all the boxes apart form needing plenty of money spending on it getting it to a spec ready to track! That's when this came up for sale......

For those of you that no longer recognise it its nielvtecs old car and I'm sure all you will know what an amazing spec it is.

And here it sits today

It's sitting much to low for my liking and looks horrendous on the ek9 wheels so raising it up and getting a new set of wheels sorted is on the top of the list along with sourcing a vsm bonnet and boot to replace the carbon and re fitting the standard mirrors.

But the best bit of news is I'm booked in at snetterton at the end of the month and I can not wait :drive:

A cheeky little engine picture and a rolling shot from last weekend :)

Nice cars mate, nice shot of the evo.. What power was the eg?

Thanks mate, I never had it dyno'd unfortunately. it had a manifold, full 2.5" exhaust and the filter so probably just over 200bhp? There so different to drive to a b series definitely feel more at home in the ek9 thou.

That evo was the dogs man pity you sold it & nice little track toy too

Silver ek9 is a good car but its far too low IMO

Raise it up a wee bit and it should handle a lot better

Yeah it's definitely to low, it's 20mm higher than in that pictures now, not so crashy now its at a sensible height.

I absolutely loved the Evo! I searched for months to find it but I didn't dare park it anywhere so was kind of pointless having it. Awesome cars thou.

if your selling the carbon boot please let me know as im on the lookout for one for my track car,

excellent car man!! good choice.

good plans also but you should keep the carbon boot it is sick.

I'm usually a fan of carbon fibre but I feel there's a bit to much of it, I have a few people interested in it so will see if I get an offer worth removing it for.

Can't wait to put it to use at snetterton :nerv:

Can't wait to see it back to its former glory mate. excited to hear how you get on at the trackday!! :nice:

Shame he'll have thrown the Geo and corner weighting I had done on it well off as it was perfectly balanced just before I sold it and a dream to drive!

Well my track day has been and gone! Such an amazing day!

The car had nothing but compliments all day and caused quite a stir with the big power cars when I went flying past on the straights aswell as making them look silly in the corners :p

Car didn't miss a beat all day apart from it kept pushing gearbox oil out of the breather ? So I'm going to have the box apart and see what's causing it unless this is common when there being given a hard time ?

Anyway here's a few pictures from the day :nice:

A few more:

And this is the latest addition to the honda family! Anyone guess what it is ?

And these are my favourite photos of the day. I'm starting little man on learning to drive young :)

Nice CR500 there! Bet that's rapid, got a crf450r supermoto myself, great fun for messing around on,

Ek9 is looking better with the black wheels on:nice:

Yeah it's certainly a handful to ride and ever so slightly painful when it decides it doesn't want to start! I love how the crf450s look. I'm actually on the look out for a cr ally frame to do a AF conversion on :nice:

Yeah I love it on the teg wheels. Need touching up in a few places but will do them over winter.
