Been @ york raceway today! for some 1/4 run's!


Jimbob how is launching and gearing with that 7.5 flywheel? Do you stall also when daily driving? Do you think it was worth the upgrade over stock for drag racing?

I quite like it, it suit's my driving style i think!
As for launching on the strip, it can be hard to limit the amount wheel spin:angry2:
But i was putting that down top my tyre's more than the flywheel????
Gearing is fine though i am quick enough on shifting to keep it in Vtec!:)
Daily driving i have no issues with it at all, it can be a bit gerky but i like the "race car feel":nice:
 
Man I need to find some wheels and sticky rubber to fit over my brakes!!!
... what a day! Awesome! Can't believe I bust a driveshaft, would have loved to had run the coupe up the track with you Will!!!

Had a good run against that Saxo Type R tho... it may have a mint powerplant, but its still french on the outside!!

Next time dude, definitely! Looked pretty good against the S-T'R, No sound for me on the video though! :(

Thanks again for telling me about the event, I wouldnt have known about it otherwise. :D ...and to think I thought it was going to sling it down all day judging by the evening before... it was a cushty day throughout, me, JB & Tim should have gotten there earlier though :win: lol me and JB could have maybe taken one of those paperweights home.
