Looking good! Hope she sees many more track days.

Had the car up with Aonghus in AP-Performance today. It made 214.3hp to the flywheel and 152.1 ft lbs of torque.
Looking forward to getting it back on track next month :)

Great car really liking this mate
What do you top out with the 5.1fd?

A few feedback for me if you dont mind mate,
Do you ever feel you need more top end on track or good enough with the 5.1. If i get time i will be swapping out 4.4 for oem 4.7 on a s80 96 box, experimenting at the moment what works best.
Also how do you feel about the n1 pulley, im aware theres hit and miss with reliability with some people.
Plus what do you prefer 205 or 195, im going up from 195 all round to 205 all round or if its not for me may put 205 on front and 195 rears.

Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated mate.

Thanks

Some spec on it Alan fair play, mad to do one after seeing your last 3 :)

Nah its not needed for Mondello park anyway, im only mainly in 3rd and 4th on the track, im on the limiter in 4th at 2 occasions on the long straights.. 4.7 box is good with short 4th and 5th.. IMO id go 5.1 in 96spec box, id highly recommend a plated lsd. the n1 pulley is a honda item so it should be fine.
i prefer 205's but at the moment all my slicks semi slicks are 195's so making most of them

Sound niall, i want to have it competition ready and get Motorsport Ireland license and try do Hill climbs with it and maybe some racing.. but unfortunately for hill climbs maximum cc i can go is 1650cc til ive 6 events done so may have to but a b16a into it til then..

Must start saving for the suit, gloves, shoes and helmet and get the car MI logged. Then the fun will begin :D

Thanks for taking the time to give a detailed response mate.
I dont think i will have time to fit the mechanical stuff for my track session coming up at rockingham.
But i will give the 205's a go and see how i get on.
Thanks again

Bit of an update, decided to go racing so got my Motorsport license, all the safety gear and gave the car and complete overhaul and this is the near finished product :)

Sunday the 11th is my first race in Irish Touring Car Championship in Mondello Park :D

Here's some pics when i picked it up from wrapping...

That's very cool, good luck!

Wow this car scrubs up well!! It looks mega mate.

Good luck at Mondello Park, looking forward to an update.

Well bit of an update from Round 5 & 6 of the Irish Touring Car Championship.

I went out sunday morning, to top qualifying and to beat the championship leader in my class. There was only 3 cars in production, myself, a 222hp dc2 and a 240hp ep3..
Unfortunately the dc2 dropped a valve during qualifying, so was only a 2 car battle for the rest of the day. I won both races :) the car went well all day, very happy with it and even happier with the result.

Currently have the gearbox out of it at the moment to check the gears as had an issue in race 2 with 4th gear...

Here's a video of race 2 :D

Well so far so good with the car in the ITCC. Have won all my races except 1 when i lost my brakes and had to retire..

After a tough decision, i decided to call it a day with the B18 after the last race meeting in 4 weeks time, and have picked up an EP3 to use as a donor.

Im Kswapping the EK over the winter, aiming for 250hp and around 175-180 ft lbs of torque, and ill be going up a class into Super Touring.

Have picked up a few bits since i decided to go k series, i got insane drive shafts, k swap ekk2 mounts, rrc intake manifold, k swap ek obd2a engine harness.. picking up a cusco lsd this week also for the k series box. It currently has an EP3 box with 5.1 and lsd in it with CL7 6th gear but ill be changing them to JDM 4th 5th and 6th when the box is being opened.

Looking forward to getting it done and back out for some testing in the new year
