B16b or b18cr?

Because it has more power and torque...the people that say 'b16b is more revvy' have normally not owned a b18c in their ek and thus cite this crap reason for the b16b's superiority.

Being more revvy is a pretty crap reason.

The wear aspect is very real though.

Don't think any is more reliable than the other... Personally id go B18C. More power & torque as mentioned & that's never a bad thing...

Also, what's the next thing most ppl do to a B16B after bolt ons... Stroker kit to 1.8!

Finding a good example of either engine is hard these days - I own both and have no preference, if I was looking to swap into another car if just look for either with good history and mileage more than what engine it was
