What size fittings and hoses are people using?
Seems a few kits come with an8 (1/2" internal diameter hose iirc??)

Others are an10 which is 9/16 hose I think,

Others have bsp ends,

Does anyone have any insight as to what size would be best suited?
Cheers

I've ran both, can't say I've noticed a difference on the same size cooler tbh.
If I had a choice id probably go -10 but I can't think of too good a reason to do so lol

The an scale is a nightmare to me tho it's very hard to understand what 8 or 10 acutually means. I found anyway, when doing fuel lines.

I think my cooler is on an10 as well... I think that the idea of plumbing an oil cooler is to keep the lines as short as possible and use the right side of hose and fittings so that there are no restrictions and to keep the oil flowing well and help oil pressure

I'l go with an10 then, cheers for the replies.

Yes I want to keep hoses as short as possible, so my current plan is to run a laminova type cooler down on the chassis leg where the abs pump used to be,

I also may use a accusump as well to avoid dry starts caused by oil drain back when it's been left for longer periods
