Ek9 1998 Vogue Silver
Hi guys, I've imported a nice, low km EK9 that I've actually owned for a couple years overseas. I can't want to get behind the wheel soon, once the roads clear up. I might need a couple parts to return it to stock. It's got a modified airbox I'd like to replace. I'm planning on some track days as well. I have some other JDM cars in the collection but this my first Honda.

:welcome:

Please share some photos of your car :)

Here are a couple. I've got some OEM wheels for it as well. Looking to return it completely to stock which means I need an airbox too, if anyone has one.

The car is in mint condition :)

Enkei rims?

Yup @rvm those are Enkei. They don't look bad imo. The car has 45k km. Very low mileage. Looking to add some . @Civicfacelift I'm all over the map. I have a Pajero Evo, E30 M3, Gc8 sti 555 edition and a bmw I3. I love them all in their own way.

Love a good VSM Type R. So nice and welcome to the Honda world.

Damn, post some photos of the other jdm cars you're importing when they arrive :)

The enkei wheels look just fine. Maybe some volk te37 won't to any harm though. :naughty:

You can never go wrong with TE! The others are here already. I post a bunch of pics on my insta if anyone's interested. @cheaprentfastcars

Hi guys, a couple more pics and a couple questions too.

A friend of mine with a type R is convinced that my car is a race base. I'm not sure. It's a pre-facelift. Is there a chassis code decoder I can try to figure this out with? I'm skeptical bc my car has ABS and AC.

I just gave it a nice wash today. Such a cool little car.

I have some parts I'd like to trade or sell as well. (including these wheels) if anyone is interested. I'm not sure I can post FS threads yet.

Race Base comes with standard ek4 interior, manual windows etc. A stripped down Type R basically. I'm not sure the chassis codes for the Race Base may have fell between a certain set of numbers but I could be wrong.

Mine has the red interior. I thought/think it's a regular version but he's convinced it's a race base that someone put an interior in. Who knows. I love the 90s man.. it was a total free for all with manufacturers doing whatever they felt like in the moment. Someone let me know if I can figure this out with a chassis number. The idea of someone buying an N1 version and refreshing the interior makes more sense now that I consider it more.

Post the chassis number in here..... @Dzero4 will be able to confirm if its a race base or not...!
