Does anyone use aftermarket parts for the suspension and steering? Im needing new RTA bushes, front ball joints, track rods and anti roll links and considering buying all aftermarket parts from Japserviceparts.co.uk

Ive always used genuine or hardrace but trying to save some cash and surely they cant be that different especially when some are listed as oem grade rubber ?

I will be using hardrace for the camber, toe and to re-bush the LCA's but im sure theres money to be saved on the other parts, some parts even come with warranty and most of the stuff says its made in Japan

Ball joints - https://japserviceparts.co.uk/front-lower-ball-joint-honda-civic-vti-eg6-ek4-integra-dc2-91-00-made-in-japan.html

Track rods -https://japserviceparts.co.uk/oe-made-in-japan-outer-track-tie-rod-end-right.html

Interested to know if anyone else uses aftermarket parts and how they hold up especially when driven hard? Also if theres any other websites post some links up

:nice:

Bought stuff from jap service parts and used them on my car with no issues. Seem decent quality and I've had no problems at all so far.

Out of the list of items you've put, only bottom ball joints is where I went oem, then onto extended buddyclubs now

Bought stuff from them plenty of times, always been great and price wise, they are one of the cheapest for OE quality parts out there.

good to know

their ball joints come with a 2 year warranty so tempted to give them a try

anyone else use aftermarket?

how much are you lowered by and did you notice the difference with extended balljoints?
Not sure of the exact measurement but I'm lowered a fair bit, tucking on 16s. I haven't driven the car much yet so can't fully say in regards to that, but the arms sitting at a much better angle so I expect the alignment to definitely improve
