Hi I've broke my rear trailing arm on my ej9 and have been offerd a set of trailing arms of an eg with a disc conversion I've bin told buy 2 other people that you just need 2 change the hand break cable but don't know witch cable I need I was just wondering if anyone's tried this conversion I am desperate for advice
Thanks

If the rear disc setup came off an eg6 you need the cables from an eg6.

I believe ek4 cables will work too with the eg6 calipers. Just incase you can't find eg6 ones.

You just need handbrake cables from ek4, ek9 or eg6. I did a rear disc conversion on my old ek3.

Does any one know if it's just a case of plug and play ie. with the break hoses and bushes ? Thanks

What front brakes did the eg have? Same size as ej9? Reason I'm asking is that if you use the prop valve from the eg and the front brakes were different you will end up with imbalanced brakes, the same applies to using rear discs and not changing the prop valve.

I'm not to sure to be honest I'm only changing rear from drum to discs because I've broken my rear trailing arms on my ej9 and was offerd some of an eg5 but they're disc and not drum I've heard of this being done was just wondering if it's just plug and play I think they would b the same size as the front Oem on the ej9 but I will b up grading the front once I've found a nice b18 lump
