Need some advice please guys 😊
Has anyone ever owned one?
Common problems ect?

My brothers been looking at a supercharged one and doesn't want to put the cash down until he knows a little more about them
 
its a CL7 he is looking at guys, seen it on facebook :nice:
 
Is this the white supercharged cl7 that was brought over from Ireland? I personally think there great cars, brillant engine/gearbox, practical 5 doors. I drive the lesser version, cl9 type S, handles great, nice cock pit.

Only problem I see with the cl7 is price, talkin 8-10k for fresh import.... And then resale seem bad as not many folk will pay that, so you'll take big lose to sell it on.

Yes it is the one from Ireland mate, it's up for £10,500 and don't want to jump in and waste money if there are problems with anything
 
I know the diesel accords have bother with manifolds cracking (doubt the petrols have same issue?) also heard that some occasionally have steering rack issues?
 
If it has OEM NAV, Bluetooth, hands free etc make sure it all works, had loads of CL7's (obviously not R's) at work where the hands free doesn't work, NAV just randomly shouts directions at you and other random faults related to the OBA unit.

obviously watch out for usual K20 issues. TPS faults, timing chain rattle from cold start etc.
 
Dad had the diesel one a few years ago and was such a great driving car,great place to be aswell get one bought sir
 
If it's the one in Bradford, it sounds ace and goes well too. With a £10.5k budget you could get a much better car.
 
Great cars, I would like to upgrade to a CL7 from my CL1 at the moment, and that supercharged one would be pretty nice.

However for that budget, I would rather save up another 5k and get an FD2.
 
I think there is an OEM CL7 R at Torque GT.
Not sure if that helps?!

Bloody lovely cars these, would love to upgrade my CH1 to one at some point, but not while it's the wife's daily hack that's for damn sure!
