Havent updated this in a while, got around to fitting the cage only to realise after we'd drilled into the floor that courier had lost 2 of the baseplates. Luckily the guy I bought the cage off has been really helpful and is getting new ones fabricated thank god! Waiting on those to arrive to completely bolt the cage in but it is in the car at least for now. Havent got any decent photos of it yet because I wanted to get some good ones once I bring it back out, its been off the road for winter. To give you an idea heres one I took on my phone..

Testing the fitment, pain having it by the headlights but looks better when the bonnet is closed imo.

Comments welcome as always :nice:

Looking good man! Measure twice cut once with that carbon bonnet, other than the base plate situation, how did you find fitting the cage?

Glad you got the mirrors okay Aaron. Looks great.

I think I measured about 10 times before i cut into my js bonnet, Only get one shot haha
I would of prefered to put my catches where you have tbh, But my bonnet already had those crappy thin metal fork type ones fitted and pre drilled towards the middle. So had no choice really.

Thanks mate! Yeah man it was more like 20 times haha glad its done now though. Cage was straight forward enough, not a nice feeling drilling through the floor but has to be done :blinx:

Thanks again dude :nice: Haha it is an odd feeling, yeah my old Js bonnet on my Jordan had those too, at least they come that way so you can get away with it.

Looking well mate. Love the mirrors!
Thanks man!

looks mean , what front lip is that ?
C West dude.

So after much debate on whether I should keep the Twinloop or change to something different, I came across an exhaust which was being sold as 'Feels'. Fair to say it does look pretty much identical to the ones they made for the DC2, but after inspecting the Jasma Code when it arrived I later found out that what I had purchased was a Fujitsubo Power Getter. Not a bad result really considering Fujitsubo are well known for their quality and performance. It weighs a hell of a lot less than the Twinloop (which isnt hard really) and has a nice tone to it, doesnt drone when driving along normally, but makes a great noise in vtec. Ill try and get some videos up of how it sounds because I couldnt find that many online when I discovered what brand it was. Only picture I have of it was from the sale ad, there were a few other photos but theres not much point uploading them all haha.

Should of taken some of when it arrived but I went straight into the garage to give it a good clean. Looked as if the car it had been on had been driven in all condition and not been cleaned for a long time. After spending a long time cleaning I was happy with how it looked and set about removing the Twinloop.

Got around to ordering tyres, Bridgestone Potenza RE002's, seemed like an all round good tyre and were a decent price so I can't complain.

Looks good:nice: I've got pretty much the same exhaust but ek9 version.
Has a lovely sound to it.

a 98 spec bumper with spats wound be a nice addition to the rear,
how do you find the potenza's?

Glad the cage is all in. Note to any seller dealing with Aaron. Quality purchaser, so understanding with the whole delivery muck up. Glad the cage is being used. though I still wish it was in my em1

Could be in the pipeline, we'll see what happens. They're good, as far as a road tyre goes they're quite impressive and well worth the money!

Cheers dude!

Been lazy with updating this, so ill bring it up to date. Managed to finally source a manifold, was going to buy one new but before I did, this came up at a bargain price so I snapped it up.

Of course the next thing to do was take the car out for a drive and see if everything was as it should be. All good and im very impressed with the manifold, can now see why people rate them as much as they do, good piece of kit :nice: Got a few photos after a drive out with a mate.

Decided to change the colour of the calipers, started to do one side a while back but didnt like the colour so I thought it was about time they were all done.
