A good exhaust/intake setup?

Hi all, ive recently fitted a J's racing 60rs titanium system with a decat pipe. I have a 98 spec 4-1 manifold and a J's racing intake. I need a few suggestions to improve my setup before i get a remap.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds pretty good to me you'll get a few extra bhp from a big tube header but not really worth it the 98 spec is a good setup and the exhaust is good had one myself. Intake wise the best setup for money is buy a cheap short arm intake arm or kit if you can't buy pipe on its own and run a 3" k&n/blox velocity stack and a cold air feed to it, my high comp b18 made great gains with that intake and exhaust

Thanks for the reply! I have been looking into a velocity stack and cold air feed from the front bumper as my j's intake causes heatsoak in the summer and seems like my engine struggles to heat up this time of year! Should i put my standard airbox back in or buy a dc2 airbox as they have a bigger filter inside?

i've got the exact same setup.but im using J's Stainless steel instead of titanium.J's intake(heat shielded) ,stock 18cr except for adjustable cam pulleys.
chrom pro tuned with RON 95. i got 189Whp and 19 kg/m of turque.

Good breathing mods would be:

Ported Intake Manifold and TB
Good 2.5inch 421 Manifold
Decat, Stainless Straight through Mid Section
Blox Velocity Stack with Heat Shield Box
Cold Air Feed

Good breathing mods will make a car quick

Thats some good power mate! Im going to put the standard airbox back on and run a cold air feed to it instead of heatshielding my J's intake. Is it mapped on a p28 ecu?

What size tb and intake manifold should i be looking for?

Id go with 70mm TB and id port a B18 intake manifold

They can port out a tb to 70mm tapered to 65mm at the plate

Thanks Kulo, il have a look! Just to let everyone know, I've fitted the standard intake with a cold air feed from the front bumper and it's running much better than the J's intake!

yeah running p28.

you should try heat shielding the J's ... and see the difference.
