2015 Type R Update


Personally I love the colour. Just dreading what the price tag will be...30k maybe??
 
Sounds pretty cool, interested to see what they've done with the front suspension...

i'm with Andrew on this the blue is not bad, with all new performance hot hatches these days (focus rs/VXR's/and now the new R) i always think there's a bit to much going on with regards to styling though but that said it doesn't look bad i actually quite like it for a new car, the price issue will be the big one but honda are normally cheaper than their rivals. Im happy they said that it will still be a high revving engine that we all know and love, but even though they had to do it, the turbo idea really puts me off sadly :( suppose we will need to see the facts and figures when it comes out.
 
Complete crap.

Colour sucks and it has five doors, what the **** is that? Turbo is also gash, four exhausts SMH.

Its less cool than an MB6. At least that didnt have drive-by-wire.

That colour combo along with the stripes screams boy racer/ attention seeker.
I like the overall design in all its over the top glory but I feel the traditional champ white finish would compliment it better.
 
Must be running a fairly small turbo then, vtec kicks in after. That also must be a very mild cam.. im sure it will be a capible car. Doesnt look great on the face of it though lol.
We all know they couldnt make another revvy engine. Just hope they havent messed up there first 'R' performance turbo.
 
its hard for us to come to terms with what honda are doing now, alot has had to change, but i know exactly the sort of spice boy that will by this and think its a true honda, like i said above styling is a bit ott with new hot hatches and like @689R said its a five door, would be alot more personal and hot hatch like if it were 3 door
 
Apparently Honda haven't actually officially released a power figure. All they have said is that it will have "more than 276bhp" but it seems that many have taken that for it only having 276.

I think it looks mean tbh.

They probably still have the gentlemen's agreement of 276hp on paper, in reality I would expect 300
 
i'm excited for this. I dont think Honda will ever be as bay racer and asbo as the vxr/focus rs etc
surely blue isnt the only colour it'll come in either. they always look more toned down when we get the real thing released
 
i think it looks class bit boy racer ish but still class they should pull there head out of there ass an make it 4wd tho
 
Turbo is the way forward and they've got to follow that.
Emissions and power figures that are about now means they can't do anything else. I expect a JDM model to eventually work it's way out butay end up another shape like the fd2
 
Agree don't like the doors and too many exhausts.
If you've got 1 bank of cylinders you have 1 exhaust, simple.

Im sure the gentleman's agreement has now been lifted!? I mean the gtr for example?
I've always wondered imagine if their was no agreement in the first place back in the 90's!
 
Looks crap,
Wheels and general afterthought styling looks very Citroen like
