2006 EP3 CTR immobiliser problem!

Afternoon lads!

I bought a 2006 Ep3 Type R recently that had been lying dormant for 5 months.

I had the battery charged and put it in (in the dark) and managed to stupidly connect the terminals the wrong way around... of course this blew the fuse for the battery (80amp under the bonnet)

So i replaced the fuse and put a brand new battery in the car is fine now however the radio and the immobiliser have stopped working? I've checked the radio fuse under the steering wheel which appears to be fine, i cannot see one for the immobiliser (if there is one?)

The green key light doesn't flash either nor does the red immob light so i have to lock the car manually with the key.

Anyone shed any light before i take it to the garage?

If it's the Hamilton Palmer type alarm immobiliser the the best thing to do is get it removed and replaced with a aftermarket type,

Usually the control box for the alarm is under the driver seat, so worth looking there for a fuse first
