This one I just serviced as well and I will be replacing the rear drop links as well.
Also just fitted a new referbished oem strut brace.

I don't think there is any ek9 that's rust free as the youngest now is 14.5 yrs old.
It is tidy though and little rust.

Fresh import surely has no rust,have you any pics of rear arches,inside the quarters etc Pm me mate
 
there is bound to be some rust even on the cleanest imports, especially around the bonnet hinges that is bolted to the body, or even on the underside somewhere, to me that isnt rust free

my dc2 a few years back was freshly imported and i was the first uk owner, clean as you like, but there was some rust on the front wiper arm, and on the bonnet hinge that bolted to the body

Were talking rear arches,inner arches,boot floor,in below ,floor pan etc on the actual shell not body parts. Nice clean rear arches and the rest I've mentioned is what I class as rust free

No need to get all worked up lad,if we are going by your definition a car 6 months old isn't rust free. What I and the majority of honda enthuisests mean by no rust or rust free is zero rust on the outside of the body as in nowhere has rust patches or rust starting to appear were it be rear arches,inner arches,boot floor,slam panel,sills,floor etc and with a fresh import you get this unless it's obviously from a part of japan that uses salt but the importer will obv no this prior to bidding.in my experience on the bonnet latch it isn't rust Imbedded into the bonnet it's just from use it start to corrode,small rub down primed it won't come back unless it's obv in the metal not on top,
Anyway this is getting off topic I'm not picking holes in the car I'm just wanting to no if arches and other areas I've mentioned is rust free and if not it's not the car for me that's all
 
i wasnt getting worked up, im actually very chilled out and smiling :D

but when people mention rust free, then i expect no rust at all anywhere on the car
