Description:

I've been considering doing this for a while. Recently I have purchased an accord type s as a newer daily (this replaced an older civic aerodeck run around I had) and I now feel the EK9 isn't being used hence up for sale.
I don't have the time to use it with work lately, and feel its possibly time to move on and just run one car.
I can already feel the regret with this, but here goes!
This really is my pride and joy, I love the car. It's had so much money spent on it keeping it nice and I feel it's extremely genuine and a lovely example.

The car is somewhat rare in the fact it has manual window winders, no abs and no airbags. This is how it was sold from Honda.
It is not a race base model, it has the full ek9 interior. Just has a nicer steering wheel as no airbag fitted :naughty:
The civic has been forum owned since import. Prior to this it has had one owner in Japan.
I have extensive paperwork and service history with the car including numerous Honda receipts for parts over my period and previous ownership.
Full service history is included from Japan also, this is detailed in the Honda maintenance book and looks very thorough although I cannot read it!

Anything the car has needed, it's had. With no expense spared at all.
June last year the car was serviced and checked over by a local garage (this guy is meticulous, I know him personally);
Compression test showed an even 210psi across all cylinders, valve clearances were checked and all in spec (bang in the middle of tolerance, did not need adjusting!)A new cambelt was fitted at this time also.
Genuine Honda or HAMP filters have been used. Along with castrol edge and more recently Fuchs Titan pro s.
These have been changed at no more than 4000mile intervals. The engine is immaculate internally, and the oil looks like new every time it's dropped!
Gearbox oil has also been changed at 5000mile intervals with genuine Honda MTF.

The car had a full laser alignment last July at wheels in motion, it was set to standard alignment settings from Honda.
In my period of ownership I have also changed the front and rear ARB drop links and D bushes, RTA bushes and 'TYPE R' stickers. A rear wheel bearings also started to whine, so this was replaced with a genuine NTN hub assembly and all other wheel bearings checked (they were all 100% fine!)
I also have receipts for a distributor overhaul (parts from Honda) previous to my ownership, also a receipt for NGK plugs previous to my ownership.
Which have also since been replaced by myself again with genuine NGK platinum plugs.
Brake fluid was flushed and replaced with ATE superblue fluid and the clutch was also bled through with fresh fluid at this time.

The car has been cleaned underneath, and undersealed with bilt hamber products. S50 cavity spray was used and a brush on bilt hamber underseal was used around flatter/more accesible areas. The rear interior plastics were removed to clean inner rear quarters and this was also treated with corrosion prevention.
The chassis and car is completely rust free! :nice:

All four genuine EK9 wheels have been refurbished in championship white.
They are fitted with ad08s two are borderline legal, two with approx 65% life left :)
I will include a set of bridgestone re010 potenzas with the sale! these all have well over 5mm tread left and are very good tyres! can get fitted for buyer if required :)
AD08 is currently not available anywhere in the UK to buy!

Originally the car came with a spoon N1 which was too loud, I then changed to a spoon street which the baffles failed on. And then purchased a brand new OEM back box from Honda. This was fitted with new bolts, springs, nuts and gasket from Honda.
This is only months old, and along with the spoon mid pipe and baffled decat produces a lovely sound that isn't at all attention drawing or ear bleeding! :))
It also sounds very respectful around town and part throttle driving

The car has the following modifications fitted;
Full set of hardrace engine mounts
Genuine mugen air intake, the filter is always kept clean and oiled. This was re done last week! :))
M factory shifter bushings
Spoon mid pipe
Baffled de cat
Spoon rad cap
JVC double din DVD player/iPod connect/CD player head unit
Koyo full length radiator (purchased new from SUMO power within the last few months)
Benen industries rear lower brace
Spal 12" fan with genuine mounts
Ferodo ds2500 pads are currently fitted, I also have a set of part worn yellow stuffs I can include and also a set of HAMP part worns.

Most mods have been purchased brand new, and I have receipts for them!
I have stacks of paper work for this car. :)
I also have every single standard part, included in the sale obviously, except from mid pipe and cat.

The car currently had 113k miles showing, I believe this is 100% genuine.
I have a certificate of mileage from import which backs this up also.
12months MOT with no advisories
Tax til end of march 2014

The car does have some stone chips, and one very small dent in the front right wing. You would not notice this unless I showed you! :)
Bolsters are good as new, and seats are stain/tear free.

I've probably forgotten something, please ask any questions!
Pictures are to follow later, I'm going to give it a good cleaning session today and get some clear pictures! :nice:

Viewings are more than welcome, I work a lot.
But my number is 07903731940.
Please drop me a text and I'll get back to you with anything you need.
Alternatively email on here :)

Looking for cash on collection.
I'm in absolutely no rush to sell, :nice:

PRICE DROP - £5750. Firm!
Will consider a PX deal with a mint e46 m3 with cash your way.
Or similar. Try me...

Also remembered I changed the coolant to Motul inugel when the koto rad was fitted (under 1k miles ago)
It's a lovely honest civic! :)

No interest at all...?
