for sale jacks Pre facelift 1997 EK9 civic.
I have only had this car for a few months but have to sell it on as I am going on a placement year to england so cant justify leaving it doing nothing for a year!
it has got a B18c engine fitted out of a JDM DC2 which is 197bhp standard along with a number of engine mods so it is a very fit car.
the modifications are as follows:
Full B18c conversion including engine/gearbox/LSD
Excedy racing clutch
98 spec DC2 4 branch manifold
J's Racing induction kit
Decat pipe
cat back Tanabe exhaust system
HKS coilovers. (cost over £1200 new)
wind deflectors
as well as all the usual type R extras such as red Recaro seats and interior, strut braces etc
the car has 100k on the clock and is really tight driving with no knocks or rattles. its MOT'd til the end of march but it should go through again with no bother and its just out of tax, but i can put 6 months tax on if i get the asking price.
VTEC comes in strong and it pulls really well with no smoke on VTEC or crunches in any gear. also it hasnt used any oil since i have had it.
The bodywork on the car is in really good condition, the only real bad point is 2 very small dents just under the driverside rear window.
since i have got the car it has got everything it needed including a full service just a few weeks ago with all the best stuff provided by SimAuto.
it was serviced with Motul 5W40 fully synth racing oil, genuine HAMP oil, air and fuel filters and NGK spark plugs and has done very little driving since then.
there are 4 TOYO proxies fitted which excellent tread on them all. and the alloys themselves are in mint condition.
I am in no rush to sell as I will not be going away for a few months but i will let it go at the right money.
I am located in Omagh, County Tyrone. N. Ireland. about 90 minutes from the airports and docks if anyone is coming from over the water.
