Hi, Ive got a 2000 EJ9 and it needs lowering. Im after a nice drop, 35mm+ really, but cannot afford coilovers. What would you recommend? If i can get away with just lowering springs that would be great. Cheers Ben

Im after some some cheap alloys for my EJ9.Can be 15's or 16's With (good tyres) or without tyres, max £200 without, £250 with. Cheers Ben

What are the tyres like on the dc2's? and are they actually 4 stud?

Was going to get springs for he moment to put me on, till i can afford coilovers anyway. If the steelies do look crap, ill just put the trims back on haha.

I cant really afford decent alloys yet, having just bought the car etc.I was thinking about just dropping my ej9 and spraying the steelies like a satin black.Has anyone ever done this and have any pics so i could see what it would look like? Or whether it wudnt look very good anyway? Cheers

How does it sit on the eibachs? id like a decent drop aswell as the performance side of things to be honest.

I've just bought the EJ and at the minute low flying planes bottom out on it it's that high.:lol: Just to put me on while i get some coilovers, which lowering springs offer the best value for money? Probably £130-£150 max! Cheers Ben

I had a look around the pedals and cudnt see any plastic. And cudnt really see what could be clicking.I sprayed the area with wd40 which worked for about half an hour then it started clicking again. It's weird because it doesn't click at every gear change maybe one in five changes. Any ideas...

I have just today bought a 2000 ej9.it has been fine then the clutch started clicking when I press it in.it's only a brief click when i press and doesn't click when I release the pedal.is it nothing to worry about? Cheers ben

Just had a look at the pics.have to admit they look spot on to me.I'm picking up the civic tommorrow morn, so I'll have a look to see if it's gt a spacesaver.if it has the 180 plus spacesaver sounds good. If it hasn't il have the 4 for 160 k? Cheers ben
