It is such a pro of the 172 the economy. Not alot of hot hatch owners can report 35mpg+ from a quick small hatch. I went from Glasgow to Newcastle and back in the silver 172 pictured and it done 398 miles to a tank. That included schooling a few dicks in BMW's aswell lol.

DC2 was voted Evo mag's FWD hero, cannot deny it's an absolute blinder of a car... I'll be honest, i've had a 182 with cup packed suspension, and at current a 172 cup, the Cup is far harsher on the road compared to the 182! Feels alot more nimble aswell (the cup i mean) caught me off guard...
