I've had a look around the forum, but I was unable to find what I was looking for (Sorry if I've missed it!) But what is the difference between a normal EK9 and an RX? And also, were there any changes, other than visual, from pre to facelift?

The problem was a bold had broken off in it, so it was much easier to get a new one than mess around drilling it out. I have a Teggy flywheel in there now, much better! :D

You guys all have uprated clutches right? Launching would destroy a standard clutch! I've only launched a couple of times as I can't afford a new clutch right now! But how I do it is rev upto 3k holding just on the bite so I don't move, then when I want to launch I add revs in a smooth fashion...

Oh right, I've read the thread again so I misunderstood it the first time. He's on about flooring it in 5th while doing 40mph! lol. I wouldn't bother, the pedal would go down, the noise would go up, but the car wouldn't accelerate! :D

Apparently raising the bonnet doesn't help. The car is designed to push the air underneath the engine. But raising the bonnet you're creating a vortex in a away. I can't remember all the ins and outs, but basically it doesn't help! I don't like the raised look either, looks like the bonnet...
