Finally got round to doing something with my EK9 after the back box decided to go. Bought a Buddy Club Spec 3 Pro, which is going on tomorrow :D well excited. Gonna do a before an after video to compare OE to the BC. :nice:

Well my OE exhaust has finally packed up (rotted through) so i'm looking at buying a cat back system. Buddy Club Spec III is leading the way at the minute, but I like the sound of the 5Zigen Fireball. What you guys had/can suggest as a good everyday system?? :))

Everytime i floor it from standing in 1st or 2nd gear the handbrake light comes on until i let off again. doesn't do it in any other gears. any ideas?

As title, I get to about 70 and centre console starts to shake quite violently. Only started doing it recently. Any faster and it gets worse! Car is standard 99 ek9 rx about 83k on clock. anyone else have this problem?

Does any body pay to protect their no claims bonus? Was just wondering if its worth it because its another £100 minimum from most insurance companies for mine on top of £600 for normal premium. I've got 6 years at the minute, I'm 24 and drive a white rx.

Just changed my oil and filter and whilst i was waiting for oil to drain I checked the condition of the spark plugs....they were covered in carbon deposits :nono: all four plugs were the same. The plugs that are in at the moment are NGK heat grade 7, but also had a greddy logo on them. So i was...

As title says, I'm looking for a replacement standard air filter element for my ek9. Something like the spoon drop in filter but the original honda part. Anyone know where to find one? Cheers, Luke.

My rear drivers side caliper has seized, did a quick fix last week to free it off but now its gone again so i need to find a replacement caliper fast as I cant get to work. Any body know any spares places? Its for an ek9.

As title suggests my ek9 is in need of a service, mainly just engine as I dont have time to do it myself. Is there anywhere in yorkshire that knows ek9's and can do services? Don't really fancy taking it to Honda cos there gonna be expensive. Any help guys? Cheers.

So we were in convoy going to play footy yesterday mornin and when we got there the guy that was following me said I had plumes of white smoke coming out of the exhaust, but only when we were going slow. One of the lads is a mechanic he reckoned it might be the coolant? Whatever it is it needs...

I've got a standard facelift ek9 and when the VTEC comes on the noise is not the same as other VTEC's i've owned or been in or other ek9's i've seen on youtube. Also the car struggles to pull before the VTEC comes on. I used to own a VTI civic and the noise that made was immense and had no lack...

Jus thought i'd say hi. I own a white facelift ek9 and live in the north of England. Absolutley love ek9's :bow: always owned civic's. Car is totally standard at moment but looking to add to the performance. Will try and get sum pics up soon.
