    Goodsport's EK9 Build

 I didn't know Trust made a muffler for the EK chassis. Was planning on getting an universal Greddy one and welding it up. Looking forward to seeing more progress. Lots of tasty bits~

    Terry’s EM1 project

Installed my Recaro. The Bride rail was fighting me the whole install because it was a few millimetres short of sitting flush to the floor. And its ‘bolt-in’! After that I decided to attempt to install my Momo wheel. I did the usual aftermarket wheel install. Disconnect the battery. Remove...

    Terry’s EM1 project

Small update. Converted the Civic back to facelift, so gone are the Shift Sports bonnet and replica Air Walker bumper. Wasn’t pleased to see previous owner’s attempt at a USDM kit. Wires spliced into indicators. Other end going to nowhere. Bumper is on hold for the moment, until I get...

    Terry’s EM1 project

Sorry I’ve neglected to update this thread. Not much progress. A lot of parts being collected lately. Here’s some things that have been done. Brand new EK9 shift boot with Hybrid Racing shift boot collar. Greddy shift knob with the old style Trust badge. Brand new pedal covers. Before it...

Tyre opinion on bridgestone or Yokos

I would say they're moderately stiff.

Tyre opinion on bridgestone or Yokos

I can't say for certain. You'll have to try them yourself. I haven't encountered a situation where my tyres slipped under braking or cornering. All I can tell you is my opinion on them.

Tyre opinion on bridgestone or Yokos

My Fit is only a 1.5 VTEC. Just shy over 100BHP. I have 205/50/R15 Nankang NS-2R for my B16 Civic. Will see how those hold up.

Tyre opinion on bridgestone or Yokos

I have the Fleva tyres on my Fit in 195/55/R15 size. Very good grip in dry and wet. Few of my friends are trying them because they heard my opinion, plus they don't break the bank like the Neova. It was just over €80 per tyre for me.

    Terry’s EM1 project

For the past 4 years, I’ve been driving a Fit. 1.5 VTEC with some bling bits ;) Just before the end of 2021, I bought myself an EM1, which belonged to a good friend that unfortunately passed away. Sickened seeing it sit and rot, I made the decision to restore it and give it the love it...

Just bought an EM1 - Advice needed

I’m posting my issues with the car on here instead of starting a completely new thread. Can anyone shed some light on this? A few of the electrics don’t work. Rear demister switch, hazard switch, wiper stalk and sunroof controls. They are what I’ve found so far that don’t work. I changed the...

Just bought an EM1 - Advice needed

Well lads. I find out the oil pump, water pump and timing belt tensioner weren't done too long ago. Although the belt itself was done 5 years ago. I'm afraid it has probably dried out like the tyres, so better safe than sorry. Thanks for all the advice so far

Just bought an EM1 - Advice needed

Whats the story lads. I've just picked up an EM1 thats been left sitting since late January 2018, so nearly 4 years. I got the car home without having to tow it. Brand new battery and some petrol was all that it needed. The B16A2 sprung back to life, first turn of the key. The advice I need...

    vti

Sorry I'm only seeing your PM. I haven't logged onto this forum in years. Yes, I used to 'own' it. Wasn't official as I never got the logbook and the guy I got it off never bothered to get a new one.

    Terence's Civic VTi 1998 (EK3) - Decisions...

@Turfy It'll be Frost White for Honda Day LOL. I think the mouldings relate too much to a 1.4, but it does break up the white paint well. Like I said before, I have the bright yellow Fit before this ha. @that_civic Yes, the front end has way too many things going on, plus I see no reasonable...

    Terence's Civic VTi 1998 (EK3) - Decisions...

Just an update on the car and where my thoughts are now. Brought the car home and cleaned it. To be honest, I thought the paint was past it, but the Frost White came out good. I was initially planning to NCT the Civic and sell it on, to fund an EK4 SiR, purely because its originally a B16...

Terence's Fit 1.5S (GD3) - New Work Emotion CR Kais

Haven't updated this thread in awhile now. Recently, I sold my Gram Lights and bought myself Work Emotion CR Kai wheels. They're wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1R's. I also bought some blue wheel nuts from Driftworks. They're definitely not Rota's ha. Here's how she's sitting now. Another...

    Terence's Civic VTi 1998 (EK3) - Decisions...

One night I was scrolling through Facebook, as you do... I noticed one of my 'friends' was parting ways with his Civic, so I asked him what he wanted for it. After a little back and fourth, we agreed to swap cars with each other. My Nissan March 12SR for his Civic. Here is a photo of the car...
