I have a friend that is scrapping his dc5 R. I already have 4 pot wilwood front brakes. Would purchasing the rear brakes be an upgrade on the EK9 rear brakes I have on now? Is it worth the conversion as I know there is a little modifying that needs to happen to make em work

There's no real advantage over the stock ek9 rear brakes, the discs and pads are the same size,
The Pistons may be slightly different in size, but I doubt it.

the only real advantage is a slight weight loss as dc5 rear caliper bodies are cast ally as opposed to steel, carriers are still steel though so its a very fractional weight saving, but every little helps!

can be a pain in the ass to bleed up too because the bleed nipple is on the bottom of the caliper when retro'd to the earlier chassis'

Thanks for the reply. Decided to just upgrade rotor / lines / pads instead
