Hi guys hope someone can help?
Basically I changed my gear oil today to Millers CRX LS 75w90 NT which is what was recommended to me by Torque GT. (My gearbox has been uprated with straight cut gears and an ATS LSD.)

After i changed the oil, I took the car down the road. Everything was great seemed fine then as i went round a roundabout in first it started to judder. Almost like the engines lugging but only when cornering and only slowly (like 1st and 2nd gear and probably not above 20mph). I didnt go particularly fast as it took me by surprise! So i don't know if it'll do its while cornering at speed.
My EK's never done this the other 15 months I've had it!!
I have looked up on the forum and all fingers I think are pointing towards a plated diff doing what its supposed to do. But why didnt it do it before? Or have I got it wrong?

Hope someones got an answer?:please:

Cheers Chris!

The oil change has caused the diff to act like that.
I assume you had a different grade oil in the box before?

This is the first time I've changed the oil since I've had it, and it was a fresh import. So I don't know what was in it before, or when it was last changed.

If you really dont like it you can experiment with slip modifiers or different oils. Or take the diff out.

So its definitely sounds like the LSD doing what it's supposed to do? Just a little paranoid :nerv:

Add some slip modifiers - just a little bit at a time, only enough to control the judder. And make sure you note down how much have you added for future reference!

When it judders hit the throttle and see if it stops. If it does then its the diff doing its job.

Cheers for the help guys much appreciated! Brought some Torco Type F friction modifier off of Tegiwa, will see how it goes :nice:
