Mattyssb's black caged ITB'd K24 EK9

The Titan throttle bodies turned up Thursday afternoon and I've not stopped drooling since:))

Having a little clearance issue with the ktuned water neck/housing at the moment, thinking I'm going to need to shave the corner of it down alittle.
Other than that, I believe once I flip the backing plate for the filter around the bonnet with close perfect.
Cannot wait to hear this thing fire up now

Looking as awesome as I expected!!

Can't wait to hear mine either, my car won't run properly with them fitted and the bigger injectors etc so I'm not even going to be able to start the car until I get it down for mapping

Titan are a good professional company to deal with, as with most proper Motorsport outfits

Can you not get a basemap made up and loaded on? So you can run it to check things over? That what I plan to do anyway

Totally agree, Iain was great, handled my order perfectly. Would recommend them to anyone!
I'm fully over the moon with the product too!

I dont have a cable or software for my ECU and my tuner "Aonghus at AP-Performance" is over 300miles away. I would have liked to be able to see if the car runs before hand but I have done my best to make sure it's ready so fingers crossed and it's only 2 weeks away until I'm heading down for tuning. My car isn't road legal so it will be getting taken down on the trailer anyway

Yes Iain is 100%.. You know as soon as you get the ITBs that they are a quality piece of engineering.

Ahh fair enough man!

Quick question, pluming in the map sensor.. What did you use for fitting once you'd tapped the under side of the manifold?
Only thing I'm a little worried about :nerv: haha

I drilled each of the lugs 5mm until into the runner then I drilled and tapped down approx 10-12mm at 1/8npt thread

I then used 4 X 1/8 (6mm hose fitting) pneumatic festo quick release fittings and 6mm solvent resistant air line to connect from the runners to the vacuum manifold, I also used 4x of the same 6mm festo fittings at the vacuum manifold. I was told that each line from the runners to the vacuum manifold should be kept the same length

You can use barbed fittings the same as the ones that come with the vacuum manifolds but with my oem waterpump housing I needed a right angle fitting for clearance and I can get the festo parts handy enough

Appreciate it! :)
