We did a conversion back in te day in a ek4 with a k20a swap. We fabricate most of the parts so ended up costing the customer around £1000 plus engine. Still runs fine today as far as I know.
Good luck.
Hi the plan was to change the internals for a forged supercharger setup so was a cheaper option to run the b18c4 block instead of b18c6 etc. He ended up not forging it as he didn't want it any quicker?!?!! Don't ask lol
Hi we run upto 6/8psi safely on most b series depending on compression. That is using a td04 or td05 (Subaru). After 3 years of running a forced motor on 8psi it was stripped to have forged internals and everything was still within perfect tolerance
So yes you can do it but dont go greedy on boost.
Try a new set of plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm. as b series engines rely on a good quality spark.
Can effect bottom end performance more than top on some cases due to high compression.
Hi we can do any conversion like toyota Glanza vtec for around £1000 not including engine.
If its in any shape civic we can do conversions for £350-£400 not including engine
Respect to the site and friendly people!
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody.
The glanza was fun,and will be especially with a turbo (sorry n/a fans!). We make everything ourselves so happy to help with any issues or parts.
Thanks. P.s awesome site you have going!
Hi a customer once had this problem. we wired the car up to a simple air fuel ratio guage and it showed the car going to lean. Swapped fuel filter and it made it slightly better. Then checked the return line feed and it was not a constant flow. swapped fuel pump and it fixed the problem.

We had to baffle the sump on a lotus elise with b18 conversion as the cornering forces were a lot higher. Oil pressure also dropped round certain long right hand corners.
More importantly we see track oil temperatures go from 100celcius to 140 celsius on b series engines. These temperatures start...
Hi as mentioned above the valve stem seals will be worn as compression test results are still high.
In my opinion i would not worry about it as it will just burn a little more oil and will not effect performance.
