sorry for the delay but haven't been on here in ages. you are correct the power and ground for the ecu is extended to bay and connected at c101 as you said.

can confirm that vtec6000 is correct, the icm wire at the ecu is the rpm signal and so is the blue wire from the dizzy. recently wired vtec controller and used the icm.

Engine is finally in and running!!! a few minor bits to sort out. this is my first swap and it has gone well so far. feeling a bit of juddering at higer speeds so i think my passanger side drive shaft needs to be changed. there are a few pics in my album. hoping to do my exhaust this week.
