Saw a preface champ white ek9 with carbon bonnet and black wheels (possibly uk dc2 rims) in the carpark by the point in cmk, was sitting nice, made me miss mine :-(
Headlights looked a bit cloudy/yellow, otherwise looked mint!
Was my 9 that Jake bought, i only ever used 5/40 motul 300v, oem honda oil filters, iridium plugs, oem coolant, hamp brakes etc etc
Definatley a nine that will be around for a long while! :-)
Wow, i cant believe how many people think that an ek4 and an ek9 drive the same! Personally my vti that had less miles didnt handle half as well as my nine did, and they both got the same amount of love in terms of maintenance!
Honda set out to make an ek that would far supersede what they had...
I have repaired deep scratches in paint this way, works a treat! The key in this taking your time, allowing the paint/lacquer to harden fully before doing anything!
me and my misses came across the first one on tv... had to turn it over man! i couldnt help thinking how ****ed up it would be to be in that position... *shudder*
For something not so trance related but excellent none the less are the "solid steel" podcasts from ninja tunes record label, the video ones are awesome mixes with amazing visuals! well worth a check!
Still nothing quite beats a bit of "full on" psy-trance for a spirited drive out! lol
do it, i did mine the same time as refitting painted number plate housing, even colour coded it so it didnt stand out as much, was well happy! especially as the bung was a bicycle handlebar bung with some strong double sided tape on the back! Get creative man!!!
Im from newport pagnell... northamptons not far at all! sometimes take a ride out to town, but go through hanslope, hartwell, roade etc, good fun especially early sat/sun in the summer!
