Ek4 trouble

There is normally a rubber "dust boot" that slides over the throttle cable outlet.
Below is a sample picture of what the rubber boot looks like when its installed on the throttle cable.

Car is hesitating again so I'm putting it down to either the gap in the cable adjuster or the butterfly in the throttle body maybe sticking is there any way of removing the part the the cable connects to the throttle body to clean and regrease

If your going to grease the cable I would only use wet silicone spray. That way things don't get "gunked up". But you can also grease the throttle spring and such with just about anything. If your throttle body was "sticking" you would feel it in the gas pedal as the are linked together with the cable. It would be a knotchy feeling, That would not have a smooth engagement of the accelerator pedal, and your car would 'lurch' forward when trying to make it cruise faster.
I'm sure if you fiddle with your throttle cable enough at the throttle body, you can figure out how to dis-attach it.
Have fun- don't think its going to fix your issues that your having. good luck tho.

Low and behold it's happening again but not as much thinking now that's its the tb as mine has been adjusted and can't get it set back to factory settings so was going to try a different one on to see what happens. Or anyone know how to reset to factory again

Check you have the correct plug on the TPS and haven't switched them over with the map sensor. Check you have the little gasket on the TPS too and MAP.

Havnt tried the ecu yet the plugs are good as I've changed one then the other so can't be mixed up. Would adjusting the idle screw and the dead stop screw do this

Before you'll buy anything, ask someone to lend you an ECU corresponded to your car, B16A2 in your case and yes for my own knowledge the idle can be set for your own preference.

After months maybe even a couple years I think I have finally executed the hesitation problem with a different throttle body drove around 100 miles yesterday and all is good just an issue now with a vibration through my clutch pedal as I'm releasing it

Anyone know what the bolts are that hold the clutch to the flywheel eg female torx etc

Download that if you don't already have it ,
It's helped me out massively over the years
